Introducing Lily Rose and Aryiah Michele

Introducing Lily Rose and Aryiah Michele! They were born June 24, 2012. Aryiah was born at 11:34am weighing 4lbs 6oz and she was 17in long. Lily was born at 11:35 am and she weighed 2lbs 15oz and and she was 16in long. They are pretty much the light of our lives right now.

This first video is a taping of their first breast milk feeding through their feeding tubes. Something special about this is the fact they they are using my breast milk to feed them. It is minute in comparison to the life they have been given by their birth mother but it is something I can give to help them grow and develop.

Aryiah is the feisty one thus far. She is particular on how she lays and likes to have someone help her with her pacifier. She is anxious to get her oxygen mask off. She is constantly pulling at her mask and setting off her alarm.

Lily, for the most part, lays back and relaxes. You can see in the video above she is sprawled out resting. Although, today she was wide awake and alert when we arrived at the hospital. Her eyes were looking everywhere. She is getting a little less than half the food Aryiah is gets because of her tiny body.

Mom and Dad love holding them and helping them eat. Dad has already changed several diapers!

We are loving every moment we get to spend with these precious angels.
